Yesterday according to Nacogdoches Police Officer Lieutenant Dan Taravella.  A high-speed pursuit started when a k9 unit was investigating an accident.  The driver took off fleeing the scene in his vehicle entered a grass median stuck another passenger vehicle and continued fleeing until he finally wrecked near the Nacogdoches – Shelby County Line North of Garrison on US 59 next to County Road 3286.

 

The driver Jewell Roberts 39 of San Augustine did not put a fight after crashing and he was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, Felony Evasion and a hit and run charge.
