Yesterday at 12:51 p.m a 2 vehicle wreck occurred on the intersection next to Walmart in Center a 2011 Black KIA car driven by Susan McCormick 65 of San Augustine turned left on to Timpson Street hitting a 1999 White Ford Truck driven by Josue Lopez 29 of New Mexico on the left side causing his vehicle to strike the traffic light pole. The Center Fire Department, ACE EMS and Center Police Department quickly responded.  Susan McCormick was transported to Nacogdoches Medical Center in Center by ACE EMS, while Josue Lopez refused medical treatment.  Wrecker services arrived and the Ford Truck was hauled off by Hopkins Wrecker service.  The area was cleaned up by 1:25 p.m.
