CHS Theatre department will perform Anne Frank and Me at First Methodist Church

As part of the First Methodist Church Concert Series, the CHS Theatre department will perform Anne Frank and Me, a multi-generational play for all ages, at First United Methodist Church Sunday April 23 which is nationally recognized as Holocaust Remembrance Day.  The public is invited and admission is free.

The Theatre Department performed the play earlier as a dinner theatre at Center High School, but they were excited to be invited by the church to perform it as part of a special occasion.

"The kids and I were both flattered to be asked," director Chris Watlington said.  "It's not all that often that high school players get to take a show on the road.  This is a wonderful theatrical opportunity for my students and a good chance for the community to share in this important day of remembrance."

The show is suitable for all ages, assuming that the younger audiences are mature enough for subject matter involving the Holocaust.  The play begins at 7:00 pm and runs about 70 minutes.
