Yesterday at approximately 8:58 a.m the Center Fire Department, Center Police Department, and Ace EMS responded to a wreck on Shelbyville St. in Center Texas.  The driver of a silver passenger car Casedrick Goodwin age 41 of Center ran off the road taking out a column at the Bark Boutique, and crashing through a telephone pole obliterating it.

 

The vehicle lost one of its front wheels and finally came to rest after taking out a speed limit sign.  Emergency personnel quickly responded to the scene.  Ace EMS transported the driver with minor injuries to Nacogdoches Medical Center in Center.  After he was released he was arrested for driving while intoxicated.  The Center Fire department and police departments blockaded the area.  

 

The vehicle was towed and the area cleaned up.  According to the Center Fire Department traffic resumed at approximately 10:15 a.m.
