Celebrate Texas "Firsts" in the Texas Historical Commissions National Register Commercial Historic District of downtown San Augustine!    Surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature this day will recognize the historical significance of different cultures native to San Augustine as far back as 300 years with the establishment of the 1717 Mission Dolores.    The area is known for its clean air and peaceful environment!    There will be musical entertainment, announcement of Texas Treasure Business Awards, classic car show, tour of recently restored 1919 Jail,  cultural heritage demonstrations, food, shopping, vendors, art,  reenactments, and much more!
