Early today at about 10:35 am the Timpson Volunteer Fire Department responded to a wreck that occurred on Highway 59 in between Timpson and Tenaha a Red pickup truck and a Grey SUV collided head on with each other.  Several Texas DPS Troopers along with the Timpson Volunteer Fire Department blockaded the area and a life flight was called in for one of the drivers involved in the wreck.  However, it was cancelled due to the weather and an ambulance responded instead.  The vehicles were loaded on to trailers and hauled off and the area was cleared by about 12:30. The emergency personal then left the scene and traffic resumed.  More information to follow as it becomes available.
