For those who weren't able to attend, the Tiger Football team made a resounding early season statement by shutting out the rival Joaquin Rams, 14-0 in Ram Stadium.  The shutout win was the first in the Tenaha/Joaquin rivalry in this century.  After giving up an early first down on a busted play, the Tiger defense dominated and did not give up another first down until the 4th quarter. Offensively, the Tigers showed some flashes against an excellent Joaquin defense, but struggled to finish some scoring opportunities on a slick surface.  

 

 

 

Things are looking great for the Tigers!! Tenaha will open up its home schedule Friday night against Kerens in the Pit at 7:30 PM.
