On June 25 at approximately 9 p.m., Polk County DPS troopers

responded to and investigated a three vehicle crash on FM 356, four miles north of

Onalaska. The preliminary crash investigation indicates a 2005 Mitsubishi

Endeavor was traveling eastbound on FM 356 when the driver drove over the

center stripe and into the westbound lanes and struck two eastbound Harley

Davidson motorcycles. The driver of the Mitsubishi was identified as Melisa Ann

Miller, 50, from Onalaska, TX. Miller was transported to CHI St. Luke’s Hospital

in Livingston where she was treated and released. The motorcyclist that was struck

first was identified as Ronald Lee Creech, 54, from Huntsville, TX. Creech was

treated at the scene and released. The driver and passenger of the second

motorcycle were identified as James Thomas Bradberry, 38, from Montgomery,

TX and his passenger Melissa Bradberry, 37, also from Montgomery. Both were

transported to Conroe Regional Medical Center where James Bradberry

succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at approximately 11:30

p.m. Melissa Bradberry was later transported to a Houston hospital and listed in

critical condition. This crash remains under investigation. No additional

information is available at this time.
