Yesterday’s Ribbon Cutting marked the Grand Opening of Adams Barber Shop. Mr. Boyd Adams has been a barber for over 44 years, when asked why he became a barber he stated because so many people in his family were barbers.  Mr. Adams has been the owner and manager of Piney Point Barber Shoop, Platform Hair Cutter, and has worked for Sebring hair cutting as a trainer.  Working for years in Houston he now works in Center, opening up a new shop located on 424 Highway 96 North in Center, opposite the Russel’s Carpet and Flooring Shop, right across the road from Martin’s Mufflers.  He has cut the hair of many famous people and is here to serve Shelby County.
