Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 25th day of January, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:

 

 

 

 

1. Approve and pay monthly expenses.

 

2. Public Comments on Agenda items.

 

3. Discuss and possibly take action on Tax Abatement  Agreement with Sustainable Soil Solutions, LLC.

 

4. To approve and renew Investment Policy.

 

5. To discuss and approve to pay for Court Technology to meet the Efile mandate.

 

6. Appoint an elected official to the DETCOG board.

 

7. Discuss and possibly approve FY2016 Interlocal Cooperation Act Contract between UTMB and Shelby County.

 

8. Discuss Lease on the JP and Constable, Precinct 2 office building between Farmers State Bank and Shelby County which will extend automatically until February 1, 2017.

 

9. Approve the Order authorizing Texas Independence Day Fireworks Sales.

 

10. Adjourn.
