Desoto Parish Directed Patrol Unit Arrests

Sheriff Rodney Arbuckle would like to announce the arrest of multiple individuals by the DeSoto Parish Directed Patrol Unit over the few weeks.
 
On December 28, 2015, a driver, identified as Horatio Richardson (B/M - DOB: 04/24/1980) of Mansfield, LA, was stopped for various traffic offenses in Mansfield, LA.  Richardson was removed from the vehicle and began reaching in one of his pants pockets.  He failed to follow deputies' orders to remove his hands from his pockets.  Deputies removed Richardson's hands for safety reasons at which time numerous pills fell into the ground.  After being handcuffed, the subject advised deputies the pills were Ecstasy.  He was placed under arrest for his traffic violations and Possession of Schedule I "Ecstasy."  He was booked into DeSoto Parish Detention Center.

On December 31, 2015, directed patrol initiated a traffic stop in Mansfield, LA that resulted in an arrest of a wanted individual from Caddo Parish for a narcotics violation.  Deputies located Davon Abijah Emmonie Price (B/M - DOB: 07-08-1995) of Mansfield, LA and placed him under arrest after verifying the warrant through Caddo Parish.  He was booked into DeSoto Parish Detention Center.

On December 31, 2015, directed patrol initiated a traffic stop on Highway 175 South near Binning Road.  Upon contact with the driver, deputies smelled what they believed to be burnt marijuana.  The deputies asked the driver, identified as Alfred Wallis Henderson (B/M - DOB: 08/10/1969) of Pleasant Hill, LA, to exit the vehicle.  A pat down was conducted and deputies recovered a methamphetamine pipe and bag of marijuana from Henderson's person.  Henderson consented to a search of the vehicle which had three children ranging in age from 6 to 13 years old inside.  Deputies located a backpack in the trunk containing a scale, rolling papers, suspected marijuana, suspected methamphetamine, numerous rounds of ammo, and a handgun.  Deputies questioned Henderson about the handgun, which he stated belonged to him.  It was found that the serial numbers had been removed from the firearm.  Henderson was arrested for Possession of Schedule I Marijuana, Possession of Schedule II Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia,Possession of a Firearm in the Presence of CDS, Illegal use of CDS in the Presence of Persons Under 17 Years Old, and Possession of a Firearm with Obliterated Serial Numbers.  He was booked into DeSoto Parish Detention Center.
