Melba Beckham, 77, of Joaquin, passed away Friday, November 6, 2015 in Center.

 

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Rev. Eric Garrett and Rev. Barry Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow at the Johnson in Haslam.

 

Mrs. Beckham was born July 4, 1938 in Needville, Texas to Walter Priesmayer and Nora Jungerman Priesmeyer. She was a member of the Logansport United Pentecostal Church in Logansport, Louisiana.

 

She is survived by:

Husband, Virgil Beckham of Joaquin

 

Children;

Denise Garrett and husband, Eric of Lake Village, Arkansas

George Beckham and wife, Ashley of Tyler

Cara Kneisly and husband, Craig of Katy

 

Grandchildren;

Amanda Gibson, Hannah Garrett, Landon Beckham, Brylee Beckham, Chase Kneisly and Ciara Kneisly.

 

Great Grandchild, Isabella Gibson

 

Sister, Evelyn Oberhof of Needville

 

Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

 

Preceded in death by;

Sisters; Clarice Baker and Delores Kueck

 

Pallbearers will be Chase Kneisly, Landon Kneisly, Craig Kneisly, Bryan Gibson, Tommy Gray and Jimmy Coulter.
