It is August and it's still HOT, but an opportunity for usage of rain gear is in the 3-4 day forecast as we originally thought. Why?  There are a series of sea breeze t-storms moving toward us from the Gulf....AND... a LOW pressure front to our North is also headed our way.  The two will mix over us late this afternoon and evening giving us widespread rain chances for the next 3-4 days of 1/2" to 1" rain totals and heavier under the stronger T-storms. 

There is a new named Tropical Storm(Danny) has formed of the African Coast in the Atlantic. It is way too early to forecast its movement other than it is in a generally Westward direction. Tom JohnsonKTXSANAU6
