Cynthia (Sue,Cindy) Jeanette Weaver Traxler, 76, of the Neuville Community, Center, Texas, went to be with her heavenly Father Sunday, June 28, 2015.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larry Bryd officiating. Burial will follow at O.E. Price Cemetery in Logansport, LA. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mangum Funeral Home.
She was born September 14, 1938 in Logansport, LA to Delmar Jay Weaver and Hazel (Lewis) Weaver. Mrs. Traxler retired from Ferrell’s Veterinary Clinic in Silsbee, Texas after 25 years of service. There she learned to give large and small animals shots, draw blood and do lab tests. She was Past Matron of Silsbee Order of the Eastern Star for 2 years. She was active in Neuville Baptist Church, serving as teacher, W.M.U. treasurer, church treasurer and editor of the church bulletin. When she and Lonnie moved to East Texas in 2001, all 3 of their children followed and live within a 3 mile radius of them. She was a very outgoing person and loved life, as her choice of songs will show. She never met a stranger and loved to travel.
She is preceded in death by her Parents, Delmar J. Weaver, Hazel Weaver Thompson and Step-father, Marshall Thompson.
