The San Augustine County Commissioners’ Court will meet at 9 a.m. this morning and among the agenda items for discussion and possible action will be accepting a letter of resignation from Constable Pct. 1 Shannon Brazeal and discuss options for appointment of position. Brazeal has been accepted into the DPS academy.

In addition, commissioners will discuss pro-rated salary and expenses for the court coordinator of the First Judicial District for 2015 Budget Year; also, pro-rated health and life insurance for district judges and assistants.

The court is expected to take action on the Marsh waterproofing contract for the 1919 Jail renovation; and consider e-file payment card processing participating agreement with Tyler Technology for the district clerk.

San Augustine County Commissioners will discuss and take action on FEMA coordination for safety project, and 2016 proposed budget for San Augustine CAD.

Reports will be given by Emergency Management Coordinator Robert Cartwright, Disaster Declaration from Judge Samye Johnson, and update on the Veteran House Bill from Veteran Service Officer Sherry Riley.
