In case you have a need to go to the Shelby County Workforce Center be advised the long-time location has temporarily re-located to a meeting room at Best Western, just across Hwy. 87 behind KFC/Taco Bell, according to a sign posted on the front door at the Wulf Center.

That same sign says the office is closed due to health reasons until further notice.

The regional Workforce office in Lufkin tells Center Broadcasting the move-out in May was prompted by an insect infestation and is being addressed by the owner of the property, Fred Wulf.

TWC administration says they have plans to re-locate back to the Wulf Center once the issue is cleared. If not, they say they will seek another location.

None of the other neighboring businesses at the location are reporting issues.
