Mangum Funeral Home announces service for 81-year old Laura Ellon Bounds Phelps Rainbolt of Center. She passed away Wednesday in Nacogdoches. Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Mangum Funeral Home. Among Laura Rainbolt’s survivors are children, Mark & Jane Phelps of Center, Jon Rholes of Kyle and Laura Jo & Kirk Richardson of Jasper; sister, Margaret Ihlo of Center; and brother, Walter “Buster” Bounds & wife, Carolyn of Center. In Lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to the Pinkston/Roughrider Scholarship Foundation, (Memo: In memory of Walter Rainbolt) or the First United Methodist Church, 211 Porter St, Center, Texas 75935.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service for 87-year old Weldon “Chuck” Tamplin of Huxley. He passed away Thursday in New Braunfels. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Service will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment in the Strong Cemetery in Huxley. Survivors and additional information will be announced later.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service for 66-year old Richard Harding Hallett “Rick Magee” of Shelbyville. He passed away Wednesday in Nacogdoches. Service will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 29 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. He was an ordained minister. Among Rick Magee’s survivors are his children, Morgan Magee of Center, Collin & Colt Bush of Center and Isaac Magee of Georgia; and sister, Ellen Dominique of Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, Oklahoma City.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service for 33-year old Allen Paul Shuemaker of Tenaha. He passed away Tuesday at his residence. Service will be at 4 p.m. today at Watson & Sons Funeral Home, with interment at Buckner Cemetery in Center. Among Allen Paul Shuemaker's survivors are sons, Matthew Colby Shuemaker of Kirbyville and Chance Allen Shuemaker of Joaquin; parents, Bobby and Manuela Shuemaker of Tenaha; and sister, Lee Ann Shuemaker of Dallas.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces graveside service for 77-year old Charlie Mack Bussey of Center. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. this afternoon at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center. Visitation will be held prior to graveside at Watson & Sons Funeral Home beginning at 12:30 p.m.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces graveside service for 63-year old Margie Dockens Garrett of Joaquin. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Johnson Cemetery in Joaquin.

 

Taylor Funeral Home in Timpson announces service for 72-year old James Wesley Kellum of Timpson. He passed away Wednesday at his home. Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in the Silas Community, with interment at Mt. Oliver Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening at Taylor Funeral Home. He was a logger. Among James Wesley Kellum’s survivors is his wife, Judy; son, Joshua & Candace Kellum; daughter, Jennifer & Terry Johnson; step-sons, Ritchie Arnold,  and James & Donna Arnold; step-daughters, Michele Cheavens and January & Steven Turner.

 

Taylor Funeral Home announces graveside service for 92-year old Mary Ruth Green McKibben. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 25, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Timpson.

 

Community Funeral Home of Center announces service for 93-year old Mrs. Christine Lane of Lufkin, formerly of Center. Service will be at 1 p.m. today at Bright Morning Star Baptist Church in Center, with interment at Westview Cemetery in Center.

 

Community Funeral Home of Timpson announces service for 82-year old Ben Johnson, Jr. of Timpson. Service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church in Timpson, with interment at Antioch Cemetery in Timpson.
