The Center Roughriders have clinched a playoff berth and improved to 8-2 in Dist. 19-4A with a 13-3, 6 inning win over Henderson last night at Roughrider Field. Caden Rainbolt picked up the win, allowing a run on five hits, with seven strikeouts and two walks in five innings. At the plate, Josh Burns was 3-for-3 with three RBIs, three runs and two walks to lead the Riders. Dalton Horton was also 3-for-3 with four RBIS and two runs scored, while Jacob Mitchell had a hit and knocked in two runs. Carthage was idle last night, so the Riders are technically a half-game back of the leaders. They’ll square off for the third time this season Friday.
