We mentioned on this newscast yesterday that a Shelby County family had lost their home, automobiles, belongings and a family pet to an early morning house fire off Hwy. 96 north.

Jerry, Nancy and Daniel Lawhorn were burned out of the mobile home they live in on County Road 4360 around 4 a.m. Tuesday.

We understand the family pet that parrished in the blaze awoke the family to the fire.
