San Augustine City Council to discuss, possibly vote on state taking over Mission Dolores complex at today's meeting

The San Augustine City Council meets at 5 p.m. today and among the agenda items for discussion and possible action will be considering the state of Texas acquiring the Mission Dolores Complex and for the operation and maintenance by the Texas Historical Commission; grant approval of San Augustine County and City Signage Plan; consider bids and award construction contract for Disaster Recovery Program Round 2.2 Wasterwater Treatment Facility Improvements; and possible action on acquiring digital utility meters.

 

San Augustine City Council will also  consider proposals and award for engineering services for the Texas Capital Fund Main Street Contract and property at 111 N. Montgomery Street being donated to the City of San Augustine.

 

In Executive Session, council will discuss filling the vacant city manager's position and if any action is taken, it will be done so in open session.
