Bareback rider Wyatt Denny continued his strong push for a National title this week at the NIRA rodeo in Hillsboro, TX , with a second place finish. Wyatt has held on to the lead all year with no signs of letting it go coming into the last two weeks of regular season rodeo. Wyatt has also been competing on a professional level, and been doing very well.

Panola has 3 bull riders in the top five in the region all with a great possibility of qualifying for the C.N.F.R. Gannon Ivy, Fulton Rutland, and Randy Myers.

Fulton won third this weekend and Randy Myers was fourth. The great  efforts of the bull riders this weekend helped the Ponies men’s team to a fourth place finish.

The rodeo team will be at its last regional rodeo April 24-25 in Wharton, Tx.
