Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service for 51-year old Penny

Diane Hughes of Shelbyville. She passed away Saturday in Nacogdoches. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Watson & Sons Chapel. Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment at Strong Cemetery in Huxley. Among Penny Diane Hughes’ survivors is her husband, Larry Jack Hughes of Shelbyville; sons, Justin & Elizabeth Hughes and Derek Hughes, all of Shelbyville; parents, Gerel G. & Judy Goings of Shelbyville; sister, Ginger White of Kentucky; and grandmother, Johnnie Cassel.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service for 91-year old Mary Rosine Parmley Parker of Tenaha. She passed away Friday in Carthage. Service will be at 10 a.m. today at First United Methodist Church in Tenaha, with interment at Old Union Cemetery in Tenaha. Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. Among Mary Rosine Parmley Parker's survivors is her husband, Dick Parker of Tenaha; sons, Mike & Pam Parker of The Woodlands, Bob Parker of Tenaha and Clay & Linda Parker of Carthage; and brother, Steve Parmley of Nacogdoches.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home was in charge of service Sunday for 76-year old R.C. “Pete” “Buddy” Peterson of Summit, Mississippi. He passed away March 25 in McComb, Mississippi. Service was held at McClellend Community Church, with interment at McClelland Cemetery. Among R.C. “Pete” “Budd” Peterson’s survivors is his wife, Margaret Ann Peterson of Summit, Mississippi; daughters, Deborah Jones of Beeville, Donna & Bill Bynum of Virginia, Deanna & Chris Collins of Center and Dorla Ann & Richard Armstreet of Summit, Mississippi; sisters, Elaine & Bill Penry of Wichita Falls and Joan & Ronald Wingard of Lockhart; and brother, Richard & Johnnie Peterson of Taylor.

 

Hawthorn Funeral Home of Carthage announces funeral service for 76-year old Mrs. Velta Broadus Bordner of Joaquin. She passed away March 25 in Longview. Service will be at 2 p.m. today at Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel in Carthage, with burial at Sholar Cemetery, Shelby County. Among Velta Broadus Bordner's survivors is a daughter, Pamela Reingold of Houston; brothers, Roy & Linda Broadus of Joaquin, Jerry & Olean Broadus of Carthage; sister, Barbara & Randy Woodcox of Joaquin
