Center ISD says there's no rush to replace high school principal Norman

There no rush to replace Center High School Principal Tim Norman after he was named the lone-finalist to become superintendent of the Chireno ISD last week.

Center ISD Superintendent Dr. James Hockenberry tells us "it's business as usual". He says Norman remains the high school principal, and as the district approaches the end of the year, any actions necessary to fill the position of CHS principal will be determined.

Dr. Hockenberry commented, "Center High School is a great campus with a great staff and student body. It will be a wonderful opportunity for the next principal."

Hockenberry said he was very happy for Norman and his family. "I'm not surprised he was a candidate to become a superintendent. He has a wealth of experience, sharp mind, clear vision and a big heart for kids. I wish him the best in his future endeavors."

Norman was named the lone finalist for the Chireno ISD job March 17, and must wait 21 days to be formally hired.
