The San Augustine County Livestock Show & Fair will get underway this afternoon at the San Augustine Expo with the chili cook-off and serving to the public at 5:30 p.m. For $5 its all-u-can eat.
Registration of fair exhibits begins at 7 a.m. Friday, with exhibits on display from 3 to 6 p.m.
The first show will be broilers at 4:30 p.m., followed by market rabbits at 5 p.m.
Saturday's show events get started at 9 a.m. with market hogs, lambs, goats and then steers.
An appreciation fish dinner will be served from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.
Award presentations are 6:30 p.m. and the livestock & fair auction is 7 p.m.
