Funeral Notice: Roy Alton McLean

Roy Alton McLean, 80, of Center, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 in Center.

 

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.  Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.  Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service, beginning at 11:30 a.m.

 

Mr. McLean was born December 14, 1934 in Guadalupe County to Roy Vance McLean and Rachael Lakey McLean.  He served in the United States Army. Mr. McLean, along with his brother, Donald McLean, owned McLean Tax and Bookkeeping Service in Center for many years.  He was a lifelong musician and was of the Methodist faith.

 

He is survived by

Pallbearers will be Terry Yates, Bennie Baugh, Billy Yates, Don Wheeler, Alan Ray, Bill Hairgrove, Roy Peace and Michael Warren.   Honorary pallbearers are Jack Yates and Bill Hughes.
