A man wanted for repeated sex crimes agaist a juvenile by the San Augustine County Sheriff's Department was taken into custody near St. Louis, Missouri last week and transported back to San Augustine County.

Chief Deputy Gary Cunningham tells us 20-year old Shelby W. Robinson, who does not have a permanent address, has been charged with six counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault against a female juvenile.

Chief Cunningham said Robinson threatened the victim repeatedly with bodily harm if she did not consent to him over several months.

The incidents were said to have occurred from Oct. 2013 to April 2014 at an undisclosed San Augustine County location.

Robinson's collective bond was set at $300,000.

Shelby W. Robinson is also wanted for the recent burglary of the Subway on North Street in Nacogdoches.
