CHS observing National FFA Week with "Kiss the Pig" contest

Center High School FFA and its sponsors are celebrating National FFA Week, February 23-27.

In honor of this special week, the FFA Officers have planned a "Kiss the Pig" contest to raise funds for the Shelby County Outreach Ministries.

FFA sponsor, Brittany Hall explains, "Each nominated staff member will have a jar during lunch with their picture on it.  Each day some of our FFA members will walk around during lunch and have kids put money into the jar of the person they want to see "kiss a pig"!  At the end
of the week the jar with the most money wins...well if you call kissing a pig winning.

We are planning to invite everyone to the Ag shop after school on Monday March 2nd.  We will have the winner kiss the pig." This is a great opportunity for kids to have a little fun, while participating in an important service project that benefits their community.
