A Center man was indicted by a Nacogdoches Grand Jury Friday for the murder of a Nacogdoches woman in December.
It was on Dec. 9 that 19-year old Marcus Issac turned himself in to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, four days after he allegedly opened fire on a Railroad Street residence in Nacogdoches.
Issac had reportedly been involved in an “altercation” earlier that day with a resident of the house where Dominique Brooks was killed.
The vehicle Issac was seen driving the afternoon of the incident was found at the end of CR 3215, off Hwy. 7 east in the James Community of Shelby County.
He later walked into the sheriff’s department to give himself up.
