Some tense moments for a short time after dark last night when a three-year old child was reported missing just north of Center.

Around 6:30 p.m. a call went out from Shelby County Sheriff’s Department Communications saying a three-year old female was missing from a trailer park on County Road 4203, (Old Tenaha Road), located off FM 2026 (Fulsom Chapel Road).

Law enforcement and volunteers were dispatched to a trailer park to begin a search for the missing child. Within 30-minutes, the youngster was found safe.
