Tigers Roll Into Post Season Yet Again

An early tipoff tonight at the SEC as the Tenaha Tigers take on local rival
Joaquin in the regular season finale.

With a win tonight, the Tigers wrap up the 2nd place seed in District 22-2A and advance to next week’s Bi-District round against either Carlisle or Cushing at a site to be
determined later.

However, if the Tigers lose to Joaquin, there is the potential for a 3-way tie for 2nd.  So, tonight is a must win for Tenaha yet again.

Game time is at 5:00 PM in advance of the girls 4A playoff game between Henderson and Huntington at 7:00 PM.

The Tiger Café will be open tonight and doors will open for the café at 4:30 PM.

Season Tickets and District passes will only be honored until 5:30 PM tonight.  At that time,
the gate will convert to collecting admissions for the 7:00 PM playoff game
which will not accept Tenaha season passes or 22-2A passes.

Get there by 5:30 and those passes are good.  Tigers and Rams---- tonight at 5!!!

Lady Tigers Set for Area Round Tilt

Coach Garry Davison and the 22-2A District Champion Lady Tigers are set to open up the Texas State Playoffs this Thursday night vs. Colmesneil in West Sabine at 6:30 PM.  Colmesneil’s Lady Bulldogs finished 3rd in District 24-2A and advanced to the area round last night by defeating San Augustine in Bi-District.

The Lady Tigers are 23-9 on the season and looking to repeat the playoff success from last year’s remarkable Regional Tournament run.

The Lady Tigers need the entire Maroon Army in Pineland this Thursday as almost all of these young ladies are making their post-season debut.

The winner Thursday will advance to the Regional Quarterfinal to take on the winner between Carlisle and Evadale early next week.
