Follow up: Driver ID'ed in one-vehicle accident in Huxley area Sunday night

To follow up on a story we had Monday, the female that was removed from wreckage in a single-vehicle accident in the Huxley area Sunday night has been identified as 41-year old Stephanie Guynes of Center.

DPS says she was headed south on FM 3172, about a mile from the FM 139 intersection, when she left the roadway, rolled in a ditch, landed upright, with the Ford Taurus traveling through a fence into a pasture where it came to rest in mud.

The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. with the Center Fire Dept. using the Jaws-of-Life to cut Ms. Guynes from the vehicle.

DPS say her husband Tommy Guynes was reportedly in the vehicle before the crash. He was found on foot nearby.

Ms. Guynes was taken by ACE EMS to Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital for treatment, and reportedly released Monday.
