Shelby County Sheriff's Willis Blackwell tells Center Broadcasting his department is investigating the death of a toddler who was found non-responsive early Monday morning at a trailer park off Hwy. 96 north on County Road 4356, north of Center Country Club.

The 9-1-1 call came into the sheriff’s office around 4 a.m. with ACE EMS and sheriff’s department responding.

Sheriff Blackwell tells us the child, a 6-months old female was taken to Center Emergency Department where she was pronounced dead.
