Official weather observer Jim Forbes says we end December and the year with a deficit rainfall amount.

Forbes tells us Center received 3.21 inches of rain in December, which is 2.25 inches below the monthly average.

For the year, 48.72 inches was recorded, that’s 5.50 inches below the annual average.

December temperatures saw a high of 77 degrees and a low of 30 degrees. Forbes said our monthly average temperatures were a high of 60 degrees and a low of 42 degrees.
