If you’re able to do so, one of the best ways to share this Christmas season is through the gift of a blood donation.

There are two opportunities coming up in the area. There will be a blood drive in support of young cancer patient Max Matlock at Brookshire Brothers on the Haslam Strip in Joaquin, tomorrow, Saturday, Dec. 20. LifeShare Blood Center is set to be on site at 11:00 a.m. 

Also, the Shelby County Sheriff's office will have a Blood Drive on Monday, Dec. 22nd from 10:00-2:30. Holidays are a hard time for the Blood Center so this drive will help out. Donors will receive a t-shirt.
