db Metal Art and The Little Fox Marketplace are excited to announce the First Annual Metal Christmas Stocking Decorating Contest, open to all ages and abilities.  Beginning on Friday, November 21st, the fun begins when you register and pickup your metal Christmas Stocking at The Little Fox Marketplace.  A ten dollar registration fee covers the cost of the Christmas Stocking.  Participants can let their imaginations run wild as they decorate their Christmas Stocking before returning it to The Little Fox Marketplace.

Winners of the contest will be awarded gift certificates for use towards any merchandise or class at The Little Fox Marketplace.  $30 Gift Certificate for 1st place, $20 certificate for 2nd, and $10 gift certificate for 3rd. 

Winners will be determined by the PEOPLE!!!  The public is invited to vote on their favorite Christmas Stocking between December 2nd and December 10th.  Everyone who votes will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift certificate to be used in select booths (db Metal Art, That's Sew Wylma, & The Little Fox Marketplace items and classes).

Awards will be presented at a reception hosted by Delbert & Wylma Beckham of db Metal Art and Ben & Tracie Galindo of The Little Fox Marketplace.  The reception will be held in the loft of The Little Fox Marketplace from 5 to 6 pm on Thursday, December 11th.  At 5:30, winners of the contest will be presented with their gift certificates.  Everyone is invited to attend.  Sweets and treats will be provided by Sassy Red's Bakery.

The contest is LIMITED to the first 25 people to pick up their Christmas Stocking, so do not wait to go by The Little Fox Marketplace to get your Christmas Stocking. The Little Fox Marketplace is located on the corner of the historic, Center Square.  Please call 936-590-4422 for questions.  Vendors of The Little Fox Marketplace and their immediate families are not eligible to participate in the Metal Christmas Stocking Decorating Contest. 

All proceeds will be used solely to support this and future art contests.  Our goal is to foster and encourage "the arts" in Shelby County!!!!
