Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces a graveside service for 81-year old Ottis Eddins of Center. He passed away Saturday at his residence. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. this evening at Watson & Sons. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center. Among Ottis Eddins’ survivors is his wife, Mary Eddins of Center; children, Debbie & Johnny Barr of Joaquin, Rickey & Nannette Eddins of Joaquin and Victor Eddins of Center; sister-in-law, Joyce Eddins of DeKalb; brother-in-law, David & Jeanne Largent of Brownsboro.

 

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home of San Augustine is in charge of a graveside service for 90-year old George Henry Woods, Sr. of Broaddus. He passed away Friday in San Augustine. He was a carpenter. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. this morning at Broaddus Cemetery. Among George Henry Woods, Srs’., survivors are, son, George Woods, Jr. of Broaddus; daughters, Lynda Goodnight of Pearland and Teresa & Rick Turner of Broaddus.

 

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home of San Augustine announces service for 58-year old Jack Ward Dymke, Jr. of San Augustine. He passed away Saturday in Nacogdoches. Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in San Augustine, with interment in the Liberty Hill Cemetery, San Augustine. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. this evening at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home. Among Jack Ward Dymke, Jrs’. Survivors are, parents, Jack, Sr. & Dene Dymke of San Augustine; sisters, Jan & Joe Hood of Marshall, Terri & Larry Null of Jacksonville, and Tina & Jeff Moyers of White Oak.

 

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home was in charge of service Sunday for 85-year old Mrs. Lillian Lofton of Broaddus. She passed away Thursday in Nacogdoches. Service was held Sunday afternoon in the Harvey Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Broaddus, with interment in the Broaddus Cemetery. She had been an employee of the Broaddus ISD serving as cafeteria manager. Among Lillian Lofton’s survivors are daughters, Betty & Elton “Turtle” Cox of Nacogdoches and Bonnie Howard of Huntington; son, Raymond Lofton, Jr. of Buna; sisters, Ruby Tucker of Woodsboro, Alle Mae & Jack Ward of Ingleside, and Marie & Elmer Hicks of Berwick, La.; and brothers, Elbert “Buddy” Von Heuvel of Rockport.

 

Garrison Funeral Home announces service for 94-year old Bertie Koonce Slay of Garrison. She passed away Saturday in Garrison. Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Garrison Funeral Home, with burial at Holly Springs Cemetery, Nacogdoches County. Visitation will be from 12 noon to service time. Among Bertie Koonce Slay’s survivors are son, Tommy & Margie Slay of Garrison; and daughter, Judy & W.R. “Butch” Blackmon of Garrison. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Holly Springs Cemetery fund at Bancorp South in Garrison.
