On Saturday, November 1st, Center High School held its annual UIL Academic
Invitational. Nine schools attended the event with just over two hundred
kids present and over fifty adults. With multiple events going on with CHS
students last weekend, many of the regular team members were unable to
attend, but those who competed continued the tradition of excellence in CHS
UIL Academics. Results of CHS students were as follows:
Computer Applications – 6th place, Brianna Cox

Informative Speaking – 6th place, Zane Ochoa, and 1st place, Brianna Suell
Persuasive Speaking – 3rd place, Allan Avendano
