I’m sure we’re all enjoying the nice drop in gasoline prices over the past week.

According to gasbuddy.com, the average price for a gallon of regular gas statewide is averaging $2.90 a gallon, that's down eleven cents.

In Louisiana, a gallon’s averaging $2.95, down eight cents in a week.

Nationally, the average is $3.09, which is nine cents less than last week and a quarter less from the same time a year ago.

Here at home, checking prices this morning in Center, the lowest we found was $2.88 at Wal-Mart, down 16 cents in the past week.
