Shelby County Sheriff's deputies arrest subject while smoking meth

Shelby County Sheriff Willis Blackwell reports that on Thursday, October 16th,
Investigator Pope and Deputy Bailey were attempting to serve an arrest
warrant on Thomas Justin Brown. 

 

Upon arrival to the location to serve the warrant, Deputies noticed Brown setting in a vehicle parked in the driveway.  When the Deputies made contact with him, he was found in the process of smoking "Methamphetamine". 

 

After further investigation, 1.2 grams of "Methamphetamine" was found on Brown.  Thomas Justin Brown was arrested and booked into the Shelby County Jail for Warrant "Assault Causing Bodily Injury" and "Possession of Controlled Substance."

 

JP 1, Maxie Eaves, set bond at $10,000 for the POCS and $6,000 for the Assault.

illegal activity or suspect illegal activity is going on please feel free

Sheriff Willis Blackwell would like to remind everyone that that illegal use of Narcotics
such as Methamphetamine does affect everyone.
