The Shelbyville ISD Board of Trustees will have a regular meeting at 6 p.m. this evening, and among the agenda items will be a public meeting on the School FIRST (Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas), which the district recently scored superior achievement; and consider for approval a school health advisory council committee. The Shelbyville ISD board will also consider refinancing at a lower rate interest bonds issued in fiscal year 2006. Superintendent Dr. Ray West will include in his report, the Texas Association of School Board Fall Legal Seminar, annual bilingual/ESL evaluation, and facilities updates.
