Shelby County Bass Anglers' 5-gun raffle winners

The Shelby County Bass Anglers held their annual fundraiser last week at the Poultry Festival.

Once again, 5 guns were given away by raffle and 5 lucky people were all smiles when the tickets were drawn on stage Saturday night before the chicken sale.

The SCBA would like to thank the donors and contributors for all the support of the club. All of the proceeds of the fund raising goes towards local scholarships and other programs promoting the youth of our communities. Coming in the near future for our community will be the Shelby County Junior Bass Anglers club that has been formed as a subsidiary of the SCBA.

This newly formed club will be open for high school aged kids that want to compete in the Regional High School fishing tournaments, which makes them eligible for more scholarships and possible advancement to Collegiate Bass Fishing. More details to come in the near future.
