The Shelby County Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8904 and the Ladies Auxiliary invite the public to their remembrance program for National POW/MIA Recognition Day, at 10 a.m. this morning at the Veterans Memorial on the grounds of the Historic Shelby County Courthouse in Center. The POW/MIA Flag that has flown there 24/7 for the last year will be retired and a new one hoisted. The names of veterans from Shelby County known to have at one time been a Prisoner of War and those still missing in action will be read.
