Holly Springs Baptist Church on Hwy. 59, between Garrison and Appleby presents Welcome Home Freedom Feast, at 6 p.m., Saturday evening at the church gym. Guest Speaker is Dr. Sydney Kroll, advocate for Veterans Benefits. The event will celebrate American veterans and also serve as a welcome home for Vietnam veterans who never received a proper welcome home following the war. All Veterans and Family are welcome. The feast includes BBQ and fixins. The event is presented by Holly Springs Baptist Church Veterans Connect Group.
