Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces pending service for 101-year old Woodrow Foster of the Short Community. The long-time local artist passed away Monday in Henderson. That’s pending service for Woodrow Foster at Watson & Sons.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces pending service for 85-year old Archie T. Buddin. He passed away Saturday in Lufkin. Among Archie T. Buddin’s survivors is a brother, Pat Buddin of Center.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service for 78-year old Larner B. “Buddy” Davis of Timpson. He passed away Sunday at his residence. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. this evening at Watson & Sons Funeal Home. Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Watson & Sons Chapel, with military honors graveside at Ashbury Chapel Cemetery in Center under the direction of VFW Post #8904. Among Larner B. "Buddy" Davis' survivors are his wife, Lela Davis of Timpson; children, Steve Dewayne Davis, Kathy Lynn Burch, Rhonda Ann Babineaux, Tonya Jean Romero, Donnie Aaron Davis and Monica Ann Lantier, all of Louisiana; and a stepson, Jody Ray Grubbs of Timpson.

 

Mangum Funeral Home announces service for 77-year old Ima “Biggie” Hendricks of Huxley. She passed away Monday at Nacogdoches Medical Center. She was a resident of Green Acres Nursing Home. Service will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Mangum Funeral Home, with burial at Strong Cemetery in Huxley. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. this evening, and from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday at Mangum Funeral Home. Among Ima “Biggie” Hendricks’ survivors are, daughters Teresa Jones and Linda Jansen, both of Huxley; and sisters, Billie Hooper of Shelbyville, Mary Guidroz of Vidor and Linda Rachal of Natchitoches.

 

Garrison Funeral Home announces service for 89-year old Osis E. “Bub” Mitchell of Garrison. He passed away Sunday at Nacogdoches Medical Center. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Mitchell Cemetery in Walker County. Among Osis E. “Bub” Mitchell’s survivors are brothers, H.M. Mitchell of Garrison and L.C. Mitchell of Timpson; and sister, Nancy Taylor of Port Arthur.
