As part of the replacement project of the U.S. Hwy. 84 Sabine River Bridge in Logansport, TxDOT says they are planning to move traffic on Tuesday.

TxDOT’s Kathi White informs us that Hwy. 84 eastbound traffic will be shifted to the left westbound lane from approximately 1,700 feet west of FM 2787 toward the bridge, and the outside lane of Hwy. 84/Main Street in Logansport will be closed from Third Street to just east of LA 5. Once the switch occurs, traffic will remain in the configuration until Oct. 2015.

Ms. White says the contractor is currently working on the eastbound bridge. Earthwork and drainage structures are being constructed for the eastbound lanes of 84 in Louisiana.

She added work is expected to start soon on the LA 5 intersection.
