The Tenaha Beautification and Events Committee will have their annual Festival Along the Tracks this Saturday.
The festivities will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the square in Tenaha. There are still some booths available; organizers are taking applications this week. If anyone wants a booth, the deadline has been extended.
The event will feature an apple cook-off open to kids and adults with monetary prize plus ribbons. Organizers say there's a $10 entry fee, and it can be anything apple related and homemade. Your entry must be in by 11 a.m. Saturday, with judging at 11:30 a.m.
There will be vendors, a domino tournament, along with a scavenger hunt with a $500 prize to the winner. You must be present for all clues and to win.
In addition there will be a motorcycle and car show.
