National Weather Service confirms EF-1 tornado struck International Paper in Mansfield Tuesday

Confirmation was received from the National Weather Service office in Shreveport yesterday saying that damage caused at the International Paper Company in Mansfield Tuesday was done by an EF-1 tornado. Employees reported the twister dropped out of the sky without warning doing damage at the facility. Employees described the storm as lasting about two minutes. Trees and branches were reported all over the parking lot, a car was turned onto its side. Metal sheeting collapsed, and several vehicles were damaged. Top winds were reported to be at 95 mph.
