Tenaha City Council will consider hiring deputy city marshal tonight

After a month of taking applications, the Tenaha City Council will consider the hiring of a deputy city marshal when they meet at 5:15 p.m. this afternoon. City Marshal Jimmy Wagstaff has been the lone officer in since taking over the position earlier this year.

 

In other items, Tenaha Council may take action on a mowing proposal from Mike Davis, open bids on work for the new McNeill Park; hear from attorney Stephen Shires in regards to the procedures for disposing of seized property/vehicles; and approve several fair housing procedural policies.
