Search underway for suspects that stole iPads from Carthage WalMart

Carthage Police are searching for individuals involved in what they’re calling the planned theft of some $7,000 worth of iPads from the Carthage Wal-Mart store early Monday morning.

Surveillance video revealed two unidentified black males entered the store about 2 a.m., obtained a bag and pry bar from the hardware department, and then shattered the glass door of a locked case in the electronics section and removed 13 iPads and left.

Two other suspects were waiting outside, and they all left the scene in a silver or gold Chrysler 200.

Carthage Police said it appeared the suspects knew exactly what they were doing.
