The Texas State Champion (Center) Dixie Boys are one win away from playing for a World Series Championship after coming from behind to take a 5-4 win over Florida last night in Bossier City.

 

Texas will now face Hattiesburg, Mississippi at 5 p.m. this afternoon with a trip to Wednesday’s championship game on the line. Mississippi lost to Bossier City, 13-8 last night.

 

Texas fell behind 4-0 to Florida, but rallied to tie, when Landon Odom belted a three-run homer. Texas took the lead for good in the 7^th.

 

Texas also fought back in Monday’s early game to take a 6-4 win over Alabama to avoid elimination.
